Exploring Europe at the British Library

23 April 2013

About this blog

The British Library has always collected material from both Western and Eastern Europe and in some cases our historic collections are second only to those in their countries of origin.

Today’s European Studies department collects and curates material from all over the continent – from Greece to Finland and from France to Georgia, and everywhere in between. You can find more details of our collections and how to contact individual sections within the department on our web pages.

This blog is written by European Studies curators and cataloguers, with occasional pieces by guest contributors.

All text is © British Library Board and is available under a Creative Commons Attribution Licence, except where otherwise stated.
