'London: A Life in Maps' closed on Sunday 4 March.
It topped all previous records for the average number of visitors per day. 131,742 people visited the Pearson Gallery since the exhibition opened on 24 November 2006. The final weekend saw 6,684 visitors over the two days. (CW)

I couldn't believe the queue to get in on the last day! Still, it was worth it, a fabulous exhibition! Well done.

It was a mesmerising and fascinating exhibition - a very effective and thought-provoking journey through the history of London. My copy of the book is well thumbed already! Thanks to all involved.
