The UK Intellectual Property Office has created a database for its first "Green Channel" patents.
The Green Channel was a initiative in May 2009 by which applicants for "green" patents with environmental advantages could ask for a fast track grant. No extra fee is involved. There is a set of FAQs.
The database at present has 98 published applications or grants. These can be sorted into IPC (classified) order, which may not mean much to the user but at least means that similar areas of technology file together. There are links to copies of the specifications.
Apparently the USA, Australia and South Korea have launched similar schemes while China, Japan and Brazil are interested.
The database was officially opened by the new Intellectual Property Minister, Baroness Wilcox, on the 4 June. She said that "green growth will feed the economic recovery while helping to create a more responsible and sustainable future".
